In some cases, a small scratch or scuff can be worked out between the drivers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>However, <em>you are required by law to report it if<\/em> <em>the accident resulted in<\/em>:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"check-list wp-block-list\">\n<li>Apparent damage of $1,000 or more<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bodily injury, or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A death<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-driver-s-crash-reports-can-be-filed-for-minor-vehicular-accidents\">Driver\u2019s Crash Reports Can Be Filed for Minor Vehicular Accidents<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:60%\">\n<p>Even if you do not need to file a police report because no one was hurt and the damage was less than $1,000, after an auto accident in Texas, you may want to file a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.txdot.gov\/driver\/laws\/crash-reports.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Driver\u2019s Crash Report<\/a>, known as a Form C-2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyone can complete to report and record the details of a crash.
