Josh was Injured in a Motorcycle Accident

I was coming home from work. I was about 100 feet from the house and I got rear-ended at 40mph.

Josh was severely injured while riding his motorcycle. He was about 100 feet from his home, waiting to turn left when all of a sudden, he was rammed from behind by a careless driver. Eye witnesses say he was launched from his bike into the air 20 or 30 feet. Fortunately, like many riders, Josh was wearing safety gear. Unfortunately, the speed and forces involved in many motorcycle accidents cannot be compensated for – even with the best riding gear. Josh was air-lifted to the hospital by helicopter and was in ICU for three days. After his release from the hospital, he faced mounting medical bills, a month of lost time from work, an uphill battle to recover from his injuries, and no transportation.

Medical bills alone – that was a huge, huge chunk of it but being that I was still able to come away with something to hold onto for later is definitely a big blessing.

The insurance company came to evaluate Josh’s damages and decided to only offer the minimum coverage. Their offer wouldn’t even have paid for the helicopter transport to the hospital let alone his hospital bills, his wrecked motorcycle, or his physical therapy and pain and suffering. Josh was not at fault for the accident but he was still expected to pay for the damages that the insurance company’s driver had caused. Facing mounting medical bills, Josh turned to the lawyers of Justinian & Associates for help. The personal injury team quickly got to work on his case and his lawyers were able to negotiate a settlement that resulted in paying for his medical care, a new bike, and money in Josh’s pocket.

Jerry Knows that Medical Care After an Accident is Important

Jerry is an Army Veteran and a current nursing student. He was on his way home from his nursing school’s pinning ceremony when he was hit from behind by another driver. Jerry was the passenger in the vehicle and was turned to face the driver at the time of the impact. The position of his body during the impact caused a strain in his neck and he experienced severe headaches as a result of the accident. Having toughed through Army training and a tour in Afghanistan, Jerry was ready to deal with the pain of injury on his own. He’s been in accidents before and knows full-well that any treatment he would need would come out of his own pocket before the insurance company would even think about reimbursing him. Although he was not at fault, the insurance companies will use this tactic and play a waiting game knowing that most car accident victims are unable or unwilling to bear the burden of treatment and medication.

It’s easier to sit back and focus on your treatment… let someone else take the wheel for you.

Jerry is no stranger to pain but the headaches were something he’s never experienced before. These headaches, his decreased range of motion, and stiffness in his neck along with a recommendation from a friend encouraged him to seek legal help. Jerry isn’t the type to hire a lawyer – he’s a fighter by nature and prefers to fight his own battles – but with the increasing pain and added stress of the process on top of attending nursing school and paying for his medical bills, he decided to contact Justinian & Associates. His lawyers quickly got to work on his case which allowed Jerry to focus on his treatment and recovery. Jerry was able to receive a settlement that paid for his medical care, physical therapy, and frequent check ups. Jerry is still feeling the effects of the car accident but has regained a majority of his functionality thanks in part to the treatment he received as a result of contacting Justinian & Associates. The money he received as part of his settlement will help him pay for his tuition and books while he continues through nursing school at Texas State.

Client John M. Appreciates Our Friendly, Knowledgeable Attorneys

“Justinian & Associates helped me with a civil business matter and was very helpful and affordable.  The attorney, Dustin Fox, that helped me was very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable.  If I asked a question that he wasn’t 100% sure about, he made sure to cross-check before providing that information.  That was very important in my process and I really appreciate everything that they did.”

Client Dee G. Was Impressed by Our Customer Service

“This review is solely based on the professionalism and customer service I received while contacting them. I didn’t end up needing an attorney but would definitely feel comfortable using them if need be. I was dumbfounded at how nice and easy to talk to they were. They provided so much information to me and in a very non-condescending tone, I was amazed. Customer service says a lot about a business and this place definitely didn’t disappoint.”
