Kevin Johnson, Personal Injury
A native of a small ranching town in Nevada, Kevin Johnson has seen friends and family trying to navigate a system that is not meant for the little guy to succeed.
Growing up, he saw with his own eyes exactly how the legal system worked for corporations and not the people that were hurt by someone else’s negligence.
Injuries at work by employees would go uncompensated by their employers.
Kevin saw first hand how the families in town were treated differently by their employer or insurance companies.
Kevin’s sense of injustice was raised, and he wanted to fight back.
Kevin obtained his Associate of Arts at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Oregon and a Bachelor of Arts at Portland State University.
In addition to attending classes, Kevin worked full-time at a lumber mill to support himself and pay for his Associate of Arts at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Oregon, and a Bachelor of Arts at Portland State University.
Kevin also worked as a truck driver and worked his way up to management, dispatching and overseeing drivers for a large trucking company.
Many trucking companies put unreal expectations on truck drivers, leading to law breaking and unsafe drivers on the road.
Seeing firsthand that the only thing that matters to these corporations was making a profit at anyone’s expense, Kevin returned to law school at St. Mary’s University School of Law.
After over 10 years of working in the transportation industry as a former truck driver and administrator for large trucking companies, Kevin is familiar with all the tricks they and their lawyers use. He knows what it takes to prove the driver or trucking company wasn’t following the law.
Kevin uses his experience and legal insights to help his clients receive justice, and make sure no one takes advantage of them.
Kevin also sees his work as helping ensure everyone is safer on the road.
